MDOT MVA Offices & VEIP Stations to Close in Observance of Presidents Day
SERVICE ALERT: The Columbia VEIP Self-Service Kiosk, located at the Columbia VEIP station, will be unavailable on Thursday, September 24 from 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

GLEN BURNIE, MD -- The Maryland Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) branch offices and Vehicle Emissions Inspection Program (VEIP) stations will be closed on Saturday, February 14, 2026, and Monday, February 16, 2026, in observance of Presidents Day. The MVA will reopen for normal operations on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
Additionally, all VEIP self-service kiosks will be unavailable on Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for system improvements.
Customers are encouraged to sign up for a myMVA account to access over 60 online services or schedule an appointment at an MVA branch here. MVA 24-hour kiosks will be available during the holiday.
