100% Disabled Veterans

Disabled veteran license plates are issued in recognition of a resident’s uniformed service-related injuries. If you are a veteran who is rated at 100% disabled, you can receive your license plates free of charge. The license plates are printed in two formats: with or without a wheelchair, the universal symbol for disability.

If you are a veteran who is rated at 50-99% disabled, you can receive your license plates free of charge but will still pay the annual registration fees and surcharge. The license plates are printed without the wheelchair, the universal symbol for disability, and have the words "Disabled Veteran" at the bottom.
