Maryland Online Driver Test Tutorial

Use this free tutorial to prepare for the knowledge test you must pass to get your Maryland learner's permit.

Who can use the tutorial

Anyone can use this tutorial at any time. It is a great way to prepare for the knowledge test, brush up on safe driving basics, or learn about new motor vehicle laws. Parents can also use it to test their own knowledge while helping their teen learn to drive.

What the tutorial includes

Each practice test has 25 questions — the same number as the real knowledge test. You can:

• Take the untimed version as many times as you need
• Link directly to the Maryland Driver's Manual to study each topic.
• Take the timed version to practice finishing within 20 minutes
