View, print, or order non-certified or certified driving records right from your myMVA account!
Motor vehicle records involving personal information are usually confidential and may only be obtained in limited circumstances. Business licensing and procurement records may also have restrictions under the Maryland Public Information Act (PIA).
Many types of MVA data NOT associated with personally identifiable information are available to you online in the Open Data Portal. You can see the MVA List of Immediately Available Documents at the bottom of this page. You can also order, view, and print your own certified or non-certified driving records anytime through your myMVA account.
The PIA gives you the right to request information about how government agencies operate and how public officials carry out their duties. While many records are available, some—especially those containing personal information—are protected by law.
If the record you’re looking for is not listed among the MVA List of Immediately Available Documents, you’ll need to submit a signed Request for Motor Vehicle Administration Records request or form.
