Mobile ID acceptance on iPhone
Licensed establishments can verify ID in Apple Wallet and other Mobile IDs for age verification right on their iPhone with the Mobile ID Check by MD app — no extra readers or hardware needed. It's easy, secure, and private.
Built-in privacy & security
When verifying Mobile IDs on iPhone with Mobile ID Check by MD app, only the requested identity information will be displayed on the ID reader. Users can review the information being requested, and confirm or deny.
How to use Mobile ID Check by MD for iPhone
- Open Mobile ID Check by MD app on your iPhone and select "Click here to Verify DL/ID." The first time you use the app, you will see an ID Verifier screen. Click Continue and Agree to the terms.
- Present your iPhone to the customer.
- Ask the customer to hold their device near the top of your iPhone.
- When the customer confirms the information requested by your business, the details will appear on your screen.
