Charitable Organizations License Plates

Maryland offers Charitable Organization license plates, also called organizational license plates, for vehicles registered in the state. These plates let you show support for approved charitable and nonprofit organizations while driving.

 

What Are Charitable Organization License Plates?

Charitable Organization license plates are specialty license plates issued by the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA).
Each plate represents an approved charitable or nonprofit organization.

These plates:

  • Identify your vehicle as registered in Maryland
  • Support approved organizations
  • May include an organization logo or be non-logo plates, depending on availability

 

Who Can Get a Charitable Organization Plate?

You may be eligible if:

  • Your vehicle is registered in Maryland
  • The vehicle is for personal (non-commercial) use

How to Order a Charitable Organization Plate

Step 1: Choose an Approved Organization

Select an organization from the MVA’s approved list.

Plate fees apply and may include:
